These numbers will determine your numbers for the square(s) you reserved.  This process will be repeated again to populate numbers for the megamatrix to determine megamoney winners.

Rules and Terms of Conditions

1.  What is the Vegas Cat Rescue MegaMoney Squares Football Pool Fundraiser?

 a.  The Vegas Cat Rescue MegaMoneySquares Football Pool Fundraiser is a charitable fundraiser run by Vegas Cat Rescue, a 401 (c) 3 charity organization. Rather than drawing a raffle ticket out of a drum to award a prize, this contest determines prize winners by using the popular Football Squares Box Pool. By running 100 pools at the same time, there are 10,000 squares to sell. This new approach is called MEGAMONEYSQUARES. A box pool is defined as a 10x10 matrix with the numbers 0-9 being randomly assigned across the horizontal and vertical axis of the matrix, one team is assigned to each axis. The matrix consists of 100 squares and the winning square is determined by the last digits of the score following each quarter of play. As seen illustrated below:

Therefore, if the score at the end of the first quarter is NFC 19 and AFC 10, the person owning the box intersecting at NFC/9 and AFC/0 would be the winner!

In the example above there are new numbers drawn for each quarter, giving players more chances to get better numbers to win with at the end of each quarter.

By running 100 pools at the same time, a Mega Matrix is created with 10,000 squares to sell as shown below:

“Mega Matrix”

All 100 pools will have the same set of numbers on each axis when identifying winning squares.

2.  What is the price of a square?

a.  The price of one square is $67.00. $50.00 of this amount is allocated to the contest prize fund. $17.00 is allocated to Vegas Cat Rescue.

3. Can an individual win more than once?

a. Yes. In this fundraiser it is possible for a square to win more than once. For example, it is possible to have the same square win in more than one quarter since each square’s number has the potential to change since we draw four sets of numbers; one set for each quarter. Your square might be designated as 7 and 0 for the first quarter, but be 4 and 0 for the second quarter. If the score is 14 to 0 at the end of the second quarter you would win again.

3.  How is the prize money distributed?

Based on a sold-out contest of 10,000 squares, cash prizes will be awarded at the end of the first three quarters and the final score of the game, as follows:

a.  If you have the winning square at the end of any of the first three quarters or the final score you will win $350. Since there are 100 pools, up to 100 individuals will receive $350 each for a total payout of $35,000 for each of the first three quarters and the final score of the game for an overall payout of $140,000.

b. If you have a square that is directly above or below or left or right that is touching the winning square, you will win $100. Since there are 4 of these squares in each pool, there will be up to 400 individuals receiving $100 each for a total payout of $40,000 for each of the first three quarters and the final score of the game for an overall payout of $160,000.

c.  At the end of the first three quarters and the final score, $25,000 will be awarded to one of the 100 winners of the $350.00. This winner is determined by going to the outside Mega Matrix and by using the score of the game at that time, we will identify one of the 100 pools as the Mega Pool. The owner of that square in the Mega Pool, which already had won $350, will win $25,000. One individual will win $25,000 each at the end of the first three quarters and the final score of the game for an overall payout of $100,000.

d. At the end of the first three quarters and the final score, $6,250 is awarded to each of the owners of the squares that are directly above, below, left, right and touching the $25,000 winning square in the Mega Pool. Up to 4 individuals will win $6,250 each of the first three quarters and the final score of the game for an overall payout of $100,000.

e.  In the event the $350 winning square lands on the exterior rows or columns, the touching square will be found by going to the opposite exterior row or column.

4.  What if all the squares are not sold?

a.  In the event all squares are not sold, ALL PRIZES WILL BE PRO-RATED BASED ON THE NUMBER OF SQUARES SOLD.  For example, if only 5,000 tickets are sold, all prize money will be reduced by 50%. If only 2,500 tickets are sold, all prize money will be 25% of the amounts listed if 10,000 had been sold. Any prize money that is not awarded due to the square not being sold, will be awarded in its entirety in the following manner:

There will be two drums with tickets numbered 1 thru 100. One drum will be labeled POOL # and the other drum labeled BOX #. One number will be drawn from each drum until a purchased square is identified such as POOL #25 BOX #17. The owner of that square will be awarded that money. Every individual has an equal chance of winning that money unless individuals have more than square reserved.
